We are an Official Branch of Okinawa KarateDo
UechiRyu Zankyokai, Okinawa, Japan.
Tony Canata is the senior student in Northampton.
He runs this branch under the direction of his teacher,
G. Seizan Breyette, Hanshi Kyudan, senior foreign represenative
for the Zankyokai in Japan and owner of the Nagahama Dojo in Okinawa.
Our Association was founded by Toyama Seiko Sensei,
Hanshi Judan, the last active student of Uechi Kanbun Sensei.
The current president and owner of the Zankyokai is
Toyama Naomi Sensei, Hanshi Kyudan.
We are dedicated to the practice and preservation of Uechi Kabun
Sensei's Original, Pre-WWII Style and Philosophy of Uechi Ryu KarateDo.
